Dr. Frederick Brown founded and established TKNO, The KNOW NOW Organization in 2005 after many experiences in the field working with individuals who had contracted HIV.  He developed a passion for finding ways to break down barriers to getting tested for HIV.  His desire was to make testing convenient, confidential, affordable and reliable.  The result was TKNO, a physician based HIV testing organization that brings Rapid HIV Testing directly to the public, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, using the only FDA approved, oral HIV antibody test, which allows one to know their status within 20 minutes.  Dr. Brown, along with the help of numerous of other physicians across the country  have been proudly serving cities nationwide since 2006, and continues to expand its services and markets.

Dr. Brown has a beautiful family consisting of a wife of 14 years and four children.  He began his career as a promising recruit on a baseball scholarship to the University of Nevada, Reno. A career-ending shoulder injury, surgery, and a subsequent rehab process, sparked his desire to enter the field of medicine and a passion for Sports Medicine.  He was accepted to the University Of Nevada School Of Medicine and graduated in 1999.  He completed Family Practice Residency at Christus St. Joseph’s Hospital in Houston, Texas and a Fellowship in Sports Medicine in 2003. Dr. Brown is in private practice in Sugar Land, Texas, where he has practiced for the last five years. He has worked with the medical staff of a host of high school, college, and professional sports teams in the Houston area and has served as the personal physician for numerous professional athletes.
